A Marketing & Inspirational Messenger

The Art Industry

What is the Art Industry?

It’s an industry that includes framers, web design services, art marketing services, suppliers for paint, multi-media, film, associations and all those vendors and the people who are involved with ART.

There are many, many mediums in the art industry. There are many collectors who are considered our clients, one of’s,  collectors or groups and associations that support us in selling our art.

I found a description at www.artandindustri.com. “It is displaying art in public places to help artists develop dynamic, lively and progressive artworks. It’s a collaboration between artists and industry partners.”

There is so much information out on-line about art, about the industry partners and why of course these partners are there for the Artists who create. They are there to support Artists make a living so they too can make a living. It’s an industry that has been around for a long time…waiting for the collectors and more artists to say “I’m in.”

I found a few sites that help the Artists, the investors.

Thank you,

Much Success & Happiness

Are U Passionate?

As an Artist, being passionate is something we have to be to create art. It’s almost like we are falling in LOVE. Without passion we will fail, it doesn’t matter what we are creating or selling without passion our collectors won’t feel what we are expressing.

A true passion is something we are deeply committed to. This includes loving another person, our chosen career or our art.

The question I ask is: “Are we passionate enough to have the recognition and the success we deserve?”

We all must be willing to be brave enough to take on all the challenges and obstacles that come in our way and keep throwing our passion out there, every time we get rejected.  As I am working on getting opportunities to show and sell my art work, there is rejection, fear rears it’s ugly head,  shall I drop everything and allow the obstacles to win? No. Perserverance is the key in achieving the recognition and success that I deserve to have.

Your job is to keep marketing, selling, showing and selling your art work. It’s a marathon one step in front of the other, it’s not a sprint.

If you are ready to turn your passion of art into a living, then you can have a great life, by making a living with it, have fun and and making more art.

Until next time, be passionate!

Resistance

Resistance is something that most of us are in. Certainly, I have found myself resistant of changing how my new software and laptop works. (I have never had a laptop before). Resistant in selling my art and people resistant in buying it.

I had a little insight about being resistant - as long as I am resistant in my own consciousness people around me will be resistant in buy from me, whether it is my art or whatever I am selling or wanting them to buy.

If you ever get the chance do read “Zero Limits” it’s written by Dr. Joe Vitae. Between my friend Patricia Ogilivia and I, we have been working together on “cleaning” out what is so not working for us. Since reading the book and cleaning, a few other friends have joined together and we just e-mail each other to share our insights about what is blocking us.  It is amazing of the simular things we are working on, the healings the miracles that are happening for us, as well the effect it is having on the people around us. Like Patricia said, “The ripple effect goes out and we are helping someone else heal their relationships and so on.”

So what’s resistance got to with this? Well, resistance is just another block that has stopped me to have what I say I want. Like sales of my programs, or selling my art work or whatever I need to release internally to have show up in my life. The “Cleaning” does work fast. If you want fast results then read the book.  I call Patricia the Miracle Coach. Whether she beleives it or not is another thing.

I may want something to happen, but if I am not consciously or unconciously clean, then the outer effects will not match what I am saying I want. It’s very simple. Clean it out.

Actually, cleaning is so much fun, after a while I began to find things to clean. Not only do you clean the clutter in your home, you are also cleaning your mind of your thoughts and then you can have what you really want.

I mention all of this, because when we are in RESISTANCE, we also can become RESISTANT to change and sometimes we really need to change something in our lives to move forward to having success or our dreams to become a reality.

Are you Resistant? or Have any Resistance to anything?

Trying cleaning. It will create miracles in your life too!

Until next time, Love & Success to you

Shop Talk

After being so excited in getting my new computer or laptop, one that has lots of memory a big screen and all the things that I wanted to have - where’s the manual to operate this so called new and improved Vista and Word 2007?  Ya gotta have more technical experience than ever.

I guess it’s true that Microsoft has to make more $$ and make it difficult for the end user. That’s enough  ranting from my end. It’s all good.

Now onto ART.

With so many art shows and sales happening this summer, I am quite sure there is one in your nieghborhood just a walk away. Art Walks, art markets and sidewalk sales are all a part of the great outdoors and certainly an opportunity to take your mind off whatever is not working for you right now.

Do you have some Shop Talk to share?

Drop me a line and I will sure to post it - your news needs to be about Art.
